Kristen partnered with the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Community Action Committee, the Tulane Center for Public Service, and Glass Half Full for a day of service in Pointe-Aux-Chenes on December 4, 2021. To aid in the ongoing relief efforts, volunteers from around Louisiana assisted members of the Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe with Hurricane Ida recovery, including mucking, gutting, and debris removal. Over 20 attorney volunteers and 60 Tulane students attended. Kristen’s dad, Steve Amond, brought his award-winning jambalaya down the bayou to feed all the hungry volunteers.
